We know Cheltenham and The Cotswolds is full of walkers, ramblers, and locals who love to explore with their four-legged companions, so we’ve made sure our pub is as dog-friendly as it is people-friendly. Whether you’re stopping by for a quiet pint, Sunday lunch, or a sunny afternoon in the garden, dogs are always part of the family here.

Dogs Welcome, Always

Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout our bar area and beer garden, where you’ll find fresh water bowls, shady spots, and plenty of pats from the team.

Many of our regulars are locals who stop in after a stroll through Sandford Park or a walk through Cheltenham town center from the Honeybourne Line. It’s the perfect spot to pause for a pint and a snack (for both of you).

We simply ask that dogs stay on leads and off the furniture. Other than that, they’re free to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere.

Our seasonal menu of classic pub dishes is served daily, from hearty mains to lighter bites. Pair it with one of our real ales, a local cider, or a chilled soft drink while your dog puts their paws up.

On warmer days, our garden opens up as Cheltenham’s biggest beer garden, perfect for lunch, a lazy afternoon or a quiet drink under the trees. We keep it open all winter too with a marquee for cover from the Great British elements.

We’re located at the edge of Sandford Park, just off the High Street. Ideal for dog walkers heading in from the town centre, Montpellier or Pittville. There’s no need to book ahead and we will always welcome walk-ins for food where we can (unless it’s for a Sunday Roast as those tables get snapped up quickly). Otherwise, simply drop in and make yourself at home.
