SUNDAY LUNCH REVIEW (March 2023)
"Are you looking for a great spot for Sunday lunch in Cheltenham? I highly recommend the Sandford Park Alehouse! They offer a delicious and socially responsible dining experience that's perfect for families like mine.
One of the best things about the Sandford Park Alehouse is that they offer free kids' meals on Sundays. When my partner and I purchase adult main meals, up to two of our kids under 12 can enjoy a free meal. It's a great way to enjoy a family-friendly Sunday lunch without breaking the bank.
But the Sandford Park Alehouse is about more than just great deals. The food there is exceptional, with classic Sunday roasts and hearty vegetarian options made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I love that they're committed to supporting independent businesses and the wider community.

WHY WE LOVE REAL ALE
Grab a pint and let's talk about the UK real ale scene! If you're not familiar with real ale, it's a traditional drink that's been brewed in Britain for centuries. But in recent years, it's seen a revival in popularity, and for good reason.
First of all, real ale is a drink that's brewed with passion and attention to detail. Unlike mass-produced beers, it's crafted using traditional methods and ingredients, which creates a unique flavor and aroma that's hard to beat. It's a living product that undergoes a secondary fermentation in the cask or barrel, and that's what gives it its distinctive taste.
But it's not just the taste that makes real ale special. It's also a drink that supports local businesses and communities. By drinking real ale, you're supporting small, independent breweries and pubs, which are often at the heart of their local community. And there's nothing quite like enjoying a pint of real ale with friends in a cozy, traditional pub.
Real ale also celebrates Britain's brewing heritage and cultural identity. From the dark, rich ales of the North to the hoppy beers of the South, each region has its own unique brewing traditions and stories to tell. Real ale is a drink that showcases that diversity and richness, and it's something that's uniquely British.
So, the next time you're in a pub, why not give real ale a try? It's a drink that's brewed with passion and attention to detail, and it's a way to support local businesses and celebrate Britain's brewing heritage. Plus, it tastes pretty darn good too!
